Technology is an interesting topic for a Gratitude Journey. The many ways technology disrupts and disturbs peace and wellbeing frequently appear in news headlines. Indeed, many of the statistics around technology use / misuse are alarming.
Intuitively, we know that we need to be conscientious with how we use technology, lest we end up addicted, overstimulated, stuck in comparison-mode etc. Being conscious and intentional with technology use is important for all of us.
However, for the purposes of this 30 Day Journey, we’re also going to recognize the good that comes from technology.
This means asking ourselves questions like the following:
Where in our lives does technology bring ease or opportunities we wouldn’t have otherwise?
How does it make our personal life better or the planet better?
Who does it keep me connected to in a positive way?

With eyes closed or lowered gaze:
Inhale for 5 counts
Hold for 5 counts
On the exhale, call to mind the 1st item on your list.
Repeat with the second and third items
You can also try to add a smile or hand on chest to this practice
