It’s often really easy - too easy - to look at ourselves and our accomplishments from a perspective of lack or inadequacy. In our social media dominated society, comparing ourselves can almost happen by default and we come up short.
But we all deserve a little celebration - we have all done things right sometimes: achieved our goals; supported others; or taken care of ourselves or loved ones in an admirable way.
Today, you’re invited to start thinking of some of the ways you’ve done that. Consider the these questions:
Where and how has your life improved in the last 5 years? What kind of progress have you made?
How about ten years?
What do you have now that you didn’t then?
Your answers can be anything from a new home or job to new understanding and insight. We are all always growing.
Or consider these questions that may also resonate with you:
When was your proudest moment?
When did your hard work pay off?
When did you rise to the occasion?
Give yourself some credit today! Then share one or more of the answers in your message.
